... I feel glad about, this end of our first week of Lockdown 2.0 (I'm expecting version 3.0 will come out in January). First up, this beautiful album which arrived through the post from the very talented bookmaker Liz over at LizzieMade. Some time ago, Liz mentioned she had acquired a load of brown paper bags; that set me thinking about how I've been wanting an extendable album into which I could pop artwork and little booklets of journalling, without the latter being immediately visible. Such is Lizzie's skill, that she has made one for me :). Thank-you so much, Liz!
Secondly, I'm grateful for Deb who, over at DebsWorld, suggested in October that we might like to use the month to prepare for joining in with 25 Days Of Gratitude Autumn Photo Challenge in November. Those of you who use Instagram will have seen these already, but here's days 1-6; it's proving an interesting challenge but I am enjoying the discipline of taking photos more regularly ...
And, lastly, I am glad that at this end of the week, there is a scent of change in the air, and fervently hoping that there will be a flowering of respect, integrity, honesty, transparency, and the art of listening and finding common ground in public (and private, come to that) life. We may yet have bumps in the road, but might we be seeing a corner ahead round which we can all turn together?
Wishing you all a happy and creative weekend, with warmest good wishes, Alexa.
