A snapshot of life now, April 2020. So many changes ...
- walking through our local parks, and finding them full of quiet, empty of people, with swings and roundabouts seemingly frozen in time
- unearthing our cot and stair-gates, high chair and bouncer, as we enjoy our fourth week of three-generational living
- exploring, now we are all safely un-quarantined (no illness emerged, for which we are very grateful), the wonderful hills, moors and streams at the end of our road
- sharing meal-making and baking together with the help of the cookbooks of previous generations (though the background anxiety of sourcing food and then disinfecting everything that crosses the threshold is one thing I would be glad to be doing without)
- taking it in turns, and in varying combinations, to make sure we all (including our nine-month old Little Miss) get as much fresh air and exercise as we are permitted
- crafting? Not yet ...the days seem to whizz by
- joining a Joe Wicks' exercise video? No need - my days are full of crawling, bending, lifting, carrying, stretching, and I am tucked up in bed by ten!
- thinking of you all, and visiting you when I can and not quite as often as I would like - and thank-you for popping in here today :).
- sending warmest good wishes, Alexa
