Sailing on ...

Navigating a new landscape, and taking time to look around and appreciate the scenery ...

• catching up with all the things I haven't had time to do till now, like tackling the pile of sewing
• taking time to document the days, and build a 5 x8 inch journal
• saying 'yes' to a coffee invitation with some ladies from my swimming group

• applying for my bus pass, and exploring how to get as far as I can for free!
• planning a sailing trip in the Norfolk Broads with some of Tom's nautically-inclined family
• checking my phone compulsively for messages from our lovely daughter and god-daughter, both with babies due in the next few weeks

And enjoying having time to connect with you all again :).

Still alive ...

... which, given that 'alive' is my One Little Word this year, is probably just as well :).

'Alive' has, despite the quiet times of reflection and pondering as to where next, continued to make itself felt (if not always visible), so Ali's prompt this month was a 'wake-up!' reminder. Up here, we have endings and the promise of new beginnings, even if they're not very clear - and I'm glad to be back with you all ... (Click for a clearer view).
