January Miscellany 19

Miscellany: "assortment, variety" (nicely neutral), "assemblage, medley" (nicely fancy), "jumble, mishmash, hodgepodge, ragbag" (a tad derogatory) ... I quite like "patchwork", though it might confuse those of you with textile inclinations! But here are the bits and pieces of January in our This is Life 2019 book, with a flavour of the talented Julie's Month in Numbers. (Click for a clearer view).

Though delighted with our previous Blurb book, I'm trialling a slightly larger 8.5x11 inch, layflat version, from Bob's Books this season; and looking forward to playing around with the possibilities of an edge-to-edge look with a wider margin top and bottom as the only constants. It took a while (months, in fact) and many futile attempts, to work out why I didn't feel able to keep the same format going last year - I finally realised that I was simply a bit bored by the design. We'll see! In the meantime, the delights of February await - have you unfrozen from January yet?
