Oh my, it's a long time since I got out my little watercolour set! And if it hadn't been for an email from Junelle about her new offering (Heartwarming Online Class), it would still be languishing in a drawer. First up, pumpkins - mine ended up vertical rather than horizontal, but such fun to be inventive, playful and indulge in a bit of whimsy ... (Click on the photo for a clearer view.)
And such good timing: it has felt like a little heartwarming pleasure tucked away inside, to be able to disappear off to do five-minute bursts in between everything else in the day. Watercolour brushes and paints are so agreeble, aren't they! - quite happy to be left alone for a while and wait patiently for you to come back (unlike their acrylic cousins who sulk, grow hard and sticky, and demand instant cleaning). I hear rumours of barns and berries next ... Hoping you'll pop back :).
