So poignant Alexa.

And a Very Special Occasion eh? How lovely ... how intriguing ...

Wishing you a gentle week ahead. x

That's such heartfelt writing thanks for sharing with us. Oh, how exciting to have a very special occasion to look forward. Enjoy! And do share that with us too.

What a (bitter)sweet page. Lovely words. And who doesn't love very special occasions! Enjoy

A very nice clean simple layout. I felt a tug at your journaling. Invisible masks are often like invisible wounds or hurts. Cyber hugs ...

I loved Cathy's pages when I was into scrapbooking - but it's even better to see to see and read yours (not that I know you personally, but it seems more real). Telling our stories with photos is so powerful - thank you for sharing! ...and I can't wait to see next week's reveal about Friday!

Karen

Powerful journaling; I'm afraid I'm not often that honest in my journaling. I tend to stick to the facts. It's a beautiful page in many respects.

Katie

Your journaling is always so powerful.

That really is straight from the heart Alexa. I don't think we quite appreciated how lucky we were to see our Gran every week, and our cousins every other weekend, when we were children. Oh, there will definitely be cake. Can't wait.

Cheers~

What a lovely page that so beautifully describes the difficulty of being far apart!

Lovely clean design - and I like the colourful swooping additions. So glad you get to go out in October to see them. Was so nice to see you today too. :)

Ruth

A beautiful page with journaling from the heart.
I'm glad there was cake ...

The rawness of your journaling is striking Alexa. I'm glad you have the visit to look forward too. Don't be hard on yourself, grandparenting from afar is often not a choice. You do your best and that's all you can do.
