... and a bit of that - you know the sort of thing? Sometimes, a whole pre-planned meal seems like too much preparation in advance: just a selection of nice informal snacks popped on a plate hits the spot. A smorgasbord of texture ...

A handful of different fonts sprinkled liberally over the top ...

And before you know it, the plate is full ...

I'm putting it down to the glimpses of sun inbetween the torrential downpours of rain - there's a faintest promise of (probably soggy) picnics al fresco soon. Summer scrapbooking, northern hemispherers, here we come!
And it's nearly time for a mid-month Simply A Moment later this week on Friday 16th. Those of you who read regularly (and thank-you so much for your lovely support) may remember its genesis as part of the 31 Things class run by Ali Edwards. It will be two years at the end of this month since that day, and I am feeling that it is time to let it gently go - so this will be its last appearance. If you would like to join me you will, as always, be most welcome; and links back to its history and ideas for recording sixty seconds of your day are just below.
In the meantime, whether you are settling down to some knife-and-fork scrapbooking or putting together a creative offering on the hoof, may your appetite be undiminished and your post-prandial satisfaction great :). See you on Friday?
