... as we made our way there, and then back to life here and to blogland. Lovely to see you! Although our visit to the family was only a two-nighter, work and home seem to have generated a surprisingly large backlog of things-to-catch-up on, so my page is a simple one today ...
And I was thinking that we might have Simply A Moment in a few days time on Saturday 23rd? (The Linky will be open for a fortnight so there will be plenty of time to join in, if you would like.) Looking forward to popping in to see you between now and then :).
Double-decker trains are fab! Glad you had a great trip.

I went on a double decker train in Nice... agree, they are brilliant and what we need to ease the congestion. Hope you had a lovely time with your family and lovely to see you back here and home.

We first saw double decker trains in Brussels, they are such a good idea. Everyone gets a seat! Good to see you back.

Glad you had a great time away. We saw the double decker trains on our recent travels too but didn't get to go on one. Maybe next time :) Pxx

We liked the double decker trains too - Wookie (exrailway) explained to me how many bridges/tunnels etc. would need work to make them feasible. Still think it would be cool tho' :)

I love double decker buses, so I do like the sound of a double decker train. And you have struck a chord - I looked round at the three of us last night and there we all were texting away at the same time (turned out we were all texting TTO!) and I thought - who would ever have imagined it?

I remember the first time I got a double decker train, I have to say I was a little bit enthralled! Glad to hear your trip was successful and that you are home again safe and sound.

Lovely that you had a smooth trip. It seems to be rather infrequent here in the States. Technology is the very best for keeping in touch with family that lives far away. I can't imagine life without Face Time!

I loved them too, wouldn't it be great to have them here. Gorgeous LO and glad you had a good time.

Yes, what DID we do before cell phones? LOL Sounds like very smooth traveling! I've ridden on a double-decker bus in London, but never a double-decker train - that would be FUN!

We're just back from a trip too, and yes the backlog piles up so very quickly. Like you we had an early wake-up call on our last day back - 3 a.m. which made us ever so grateful for traveling with adult children instead of little ones. And smooth travels helped us to maintain our vacation attitudes all the way home.

Double decker trains are great - our commuter trains here in the Toronto area are double decker and believe me in rush hour you need those extra seats. :)
