Good luck this afternoon. Thanks for sharing your moment!

Good luck today. I can totally relate to the part of the house not heated up yet as I sit in the room over the garage - it has to be the coldest one. :)

Hope all went well. I could really imagine the stillness of your home in the early morning.

Praying your dad's eye appointment goes well today!

Hope all is well after the hospital today. A lovely moment Alexa and the lamps are so pretty.

Prairie Jill

Lovely post. I felt like I was there with you. I love the light of your little bamboo lights, especially when the nights are so long.
Hope all went well with your dad.

the relationship between the lights and eyes? Was it subconscious?. I hope the op went well for your dad.

The bamboo lights are so pretty. I so hate the cold of the tile floor so could feel the tug of avoiding it or having that hot cup of tea/coffee. I hope all went smoothly for your dad and that he had indeed fallen asleep with the light on.

Very best of luck with that treatment. I hope it makes a big difference.

Hoping your dad's treatment went well.

I hope all went well for your dad Alexa...a lovely post x

You do a great job capturing that quiet moment when you need to stay quiet . . . keeping a good thought for your father. Thanks for hosting. I plan to post later this week.

Love that quiet hush when you are the only one about in the morning. Hope all went well with your Dad.

I hope your dad's appointment went well, Alexa! I loved reading your moment, and I was really touched how, at the end, your mood was lifted with a creative thought of adding ivy to your pretty strand of lights!

Hope that your Dad's appointment went well. Lovely journalling and a beautiful photograph. Merry Christmas to you and your family x

Beautiful writing and beautiful lights! I hope your father's appointment went well.

Julie K

Hoping that everything went smoothly and that he's back home and improving every day.

This was a very peaceful moment to share with you ... I wonder if you were actually just getting in some secret practise for sneaking downstairs to squeeze Christmas presents next week.

Merry Christmas Alexa. Merry, merry Christmas. x

Your write beautifully Alexa. I have loved following your meme this year. I'm sorry I can't join in this month (life got rather in the way with the end of term), but am eager to continue if you are doing it again this year?! x

Missus Wookie

I hope the appointment went well - I wrote notes for my moment on the 15th and might actually get these typed up. But appreciate the monthly reminder. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

What a beautiful image and words, hope things went well with your Dad.

This is a beautiful layout...the bamboo lights lending a soft glow to your morning, the title nestled into the diagonal, and the white lettering on black...all very creative and inviting.

Like others posting here, I hope everything went well with your Dad's appointment and that you and yours are enjoying the gentle pleasures of Christmas eve...

Another moment captured perfectly Alexa. I am sorry to be so late to the party - - and I do hope all is well with your dad. Love the photo - and so beautifully written as usual. Thank you so much for hosting this meme - I do hope you continue it next year. All the very best to you and your family for 2014 - many kind regards , Jennie x

Hi Alexa, I have been coming over to your blog for quite a few months now for a read of this series and have to say I having been loving your and the other participants moments. Fully intend on joining in next year x
