Thank-you very much indeed to Abi for this lovely meme: a story in one photo and twenty words ...
................................................................................................................................................................................
...........................................................................................................................................................................................1 1 now-I-can-see-you: stamps more visible in a folder 2 gleaning ideas for dispalying text from the Simple Things magazine 3 doing an online course (if I can fit it in) 4 I succumbed 5 Doodling my own paper for my Day-2-Day scrapbook 6 giving drawing a go - again 7 delivery of a gelli plate: Carla Sonheim's doing a class 8 all the way from the USA, and wonderful 9 still on the hunt for the totally perfect archival pen
And if you are new to Simply A Moment, it's a chance to pause mid-month, to notice and reflect - just for sixty seconds. You will find lots of information here and here with a downloadable pdf, if you would like a little something to help you along. And you don't need to write a lot: as Abi has shown us, less can be as good as more :). It would be lovely to see you! Until the 16th ...
Very clever!

I am so out of any online loop Alexa, but enjoyed how you set up this post. I must apologise for being awol this summer and not being around to enjoy your posts. I am coming to the end of this all-consuming period of the store opening and hoping to have some blog-catch-up time soon. Warm regards to you from Jen x

As a linguist I should be able to find writing a mere 20 words less of a challenge than it is so well done to you. Did you find the ultimate pen? I haven't.
Many thanks for your kind comments on my blog too.

Lovely - and I'm happy for Monday or Sunday, I enjoy the reminder to stop and observe my blessings.

I'm loving these. All such different takes on Abi's clever idea. Thanks for mentioning the class. I'm just pondering getting a Gelli plate for my girl now that she's started her GCSE Art course. Mixed media seems to be the buzz word right now.

Lovely! I hope next week brings creativity in bucketfuls for you (though "bucketfuls" is hardly a chic enough word to describe what you produce!)

Great! And thanks for the reminder about Monday!

Oh Alexa, I love this. Maybe even I could string together just a few words like this and join in Simply a Moment this month (It's already the 16th here)

Hi Alexa! thank you for passing by my WITL, I missed yours, but I know is a very high consuming project!!!
I'm waiting for your Simply a Moment and thinking about mine... maybe I can try to just write 20 words, but is going to be hard!! and anyway, never as nice and clever as you!!

Great interpretation of Abi's prompt! I love #4 (I can SO relate to that!), and I'm off to find out about the gelli plate which I know nothing about!

Oooh....I'm waiting for my gelli plate too. My fave pen is Sakura micron. :)
