I like sometimes. It doesn't have the often peremptory, accusatory or final ring of never or always. Sometimes is a little more forgiving. It allows for possibilities. There's a softness to it: more hope. Though the wind was chill and old limbs tired and frail, we stopped for a brief walk along the ridge: Himself and Mum were out in front with the wheelie, Dad and I behind with my arm tucked into one of his. Through the hazy drizzle, the sun was breaking through, and gulls - tossed inland by the storms - wheeling across the fields below. With our free hands, Dad held his stick and I held my camera, snapping the occasional photo as we walked, and not expecting much. But here is what I saw when we arrived home, and here is what came to me ...
It's always a waste of time, I've said, taking photos on the move: I can never do anything with them. But perhaps sometimes, just sometimes ...
Stunning Alexa! Absolutely stunning :)

It's a bit like "simply" isn't it? I think "simply" and "sometimes" go together very well

My word for this year is NOW, because I'm always looking ahead to the next thing and sometimes failing to appreciate what I've got right here and NOW. Your photos are simply beautiful, I wish I'd taken them ...

This is an absolutely out-of-this-world stunning photo, accompanied by most eloquent prose. As one reader said, a "forever" piece.
Thank you ever so much for sharing. I shall revisit often.
Cheers~

Yes I like sometimes and simply, they are kind of ordinary in their sound but never in their connotation. Beautiful Alexa both words and pictures
