Love secondhand book shops! What a great layout; I will have to remember to get my camera out next time we are book shopping.

Amy

The layout is so clean and yet I think you have captured the details really, really well. I always love your combination of straight lines and curves - beautiful balance Alexa :-)

Funny I love reading but have never really liked second hand book shops - something about the oldness and the fragility of the books?! Now a charity shop's book pile is another matter - strange but true.
Another lovely stylish page Alexa :D

Think I recognise that shop lol :) Another beautiful layout. Very stylish. Love the textured border around the main photo. Px

So creative. Love the simplicity of the layout!! And - bookshops are among my favorite 'hang-out' spots!

Amanda

My local secondhand bookshop is a favourite hangout. I love the combination of opposing square and rounded corners on your layout. Were you sneaking around the bookshop with your camera?

Cheri

We don't have any second hand shops around here - wish we did! I could have a blast. Love the layout.

Sian

That would be my ideal Saturday job! This is a beautiful page Alexa.

Jacky S

The photos make me think of my DD who is also a bookworm.....and it would be my perfect Saturday job as well.....or second perfect....after a craft shop!!

Jen

A lovely stylish page - so elegant - you have such a distinctive style. I love ALL bookshops - and am also a book worm who gravitates towards childhood memories in secondhand bookshops!

It's wonderful! I can definitely see where you were inspired. Thank you so much for playing along and your encouraging words :)

The whitespace of this LO really lets the viewer's eye settle on the photos and embellishments. I especially like how you used the cardboard "a" to start the journaling at the bottom left. Very clever!

Thanks for your comment on my blog! This is a terrific page take on the Ad! I also remember seeing your striking pages in a digigallery somewhere... perhaps just at DD? I shall follow your blog, too :)
