Ways ...
This is one of my favourite months, November - partly because there are no big occasions this month (once the 5th is past!), no cards or presents for immediate family and friends to feel anxious about remembering (or rather, forgetting). I love it for its lightness. Counter-intuitive, perhaps, as the days shorten and the clocks go back. Up here, leaves continue to soften into lemony gold, the needles of larch drift on misty mornings across along the path, and the dark silhouettes of trunks and branches quietly settle into view ...
It feels a good time of year to be sifting through things, and letting go. I like Francine Jay's reminder: "I've never known a traveller to envy how much luggage his neighbour has". Though when she suggested that this might mean only having enough craft things to fit in one box, even my I-love-minimal spirit shivered!
... and days
Last Monday when I posted my page plans for a Book of December Days, some of you asked if I might be able to make available the files themselves. Happy to - it's taking a little time, as I hadn't got as far as actually creating them!, so will half of them do today? I've zipped psd. files for my templates 01-04. These are the top row on last Monday's photo, and am hoping to have the rest finished for anyone who'd like them later this week. They should work for both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, and if there are any problems, do let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Oh and thanks for the great comment about what I do on my blog. I had a short spell designing websites for companies and absolutely loved it. Would love to do it for a living, but everyone wants qualifications and/or years of experience! :(
