loving your thoughts here alexa ;0)

This is great! I was looking at a lovely book called "Print And Pattern" last night and thinking the same kind of thoughts, the hows and whys. You are way ahead of me in your wonderful sophisticated analysis though :)

You did such a thorough job, Alexa, and the end results is quite pleasing to look at in itself! Thanks for the pdf; I love your analysis. Like Sian, I think about layouts (and even collect ideas from magazine ads) but I never get this far.

Oooh interesting stuff - makes me look at the Radio Times (my only magazine) in a whole new way!

What a brilliant job you've done. I love how you have broke the page down and it will be very useful for a scrapbook novice, so thanks

Love how you have put this into perspective Alexa, I like flicking through magazines like Country Living for ideas for layouts and designs but you have taken it a step further with explaining what to look for/at, for instance tying in the font colour with the colour in the photos.

On a similar note with the word rhymes I was trying to buy perfume at an airport once and the sales assistant used words of three to describe certain scents, e.g. this is delicious delightful divine or sensual sophisticated sensitive. I suppose those ad men/women know how to get to us after all.
