1 I need a comfy pair of shoes: I've seen a nice pair in Clarks. (Back story: I always refused to buy her fashion shoes for school, and we bought 'sensible' ones in Clarks.)
2. Got to the checkout and realised I hadn't bought any chocolate. Eek, I've become an adult! When did that happen?
3 That's a nice set of saucepans Mum. I'd like some like that.
4 Ugh, I'm not going clubbing any more. It's just too much hassle.
5 Oh, I like that apron - is it going spare?

1 Pain and exhaustion (post-traumatic frozen shoulder, ongoing).
2 Navigating Dad's wildly fluctuating vascular dementia with him.
3 Dispirited apathy due to 1 and 2.

4 The creative bloggers I know, and their stories, are inspiring and uplifting.
5 I've missed you and being part of you.
6 Renewed energy due to realization of 4 and 5.
